Ken Ceder, Research Director, was formerly co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Ken formed OTT Light Systems soon after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photobiologist Dr. John Ott — the father of 'health enhancing' full spectrum light.
Ken sold his rights to the Ott Light brand after Dr. Ott's death and formed the bioLight Group to advance Dr. Ott's full-spectrum light vision and to provide a convenient solution for the silent epidemic of malillumination.
Building on Dr. Ott's insightful work, the scientific mechanisms underlying various light therapy treatments are finally being explained. Years of systematic research carried out in centers of excellence all over the world now provides not only a better understanding of the cellular mechanisms which respond to light therapy, but also various biological effects that can be achieved as a result of light stimulation.
