Ken Ceder, CEO, was formerly co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Ken formed OTT Light Systems (OLS) in 1987 after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photobiologist Dr. John Ott; the father of 'health enhancing' full spectrum light.
OLS sold all rights to the Ott Light brand & trade mark after Dr. Ott's death and formed the bioLight Group (bLG) to advance Dr. Ott's full-spectrum light vision and to act as a catalyst for raising awareness of — Mal-illumination ...the silent epidemic.
Building on Dr. Ott's insightful work, the scientific mechanisms underlying various light therapy treatments are finally being explained. Years of systematic research carried out in centers of excellence all over the world now provides not only a better understanding of the cellular mechanisms which respond to light therapy, but also various biological effects that can be achieved as a result of light stimulation.
